System Overview

This system is a complete solution for providing high quality silica sand raw materials for the special glass industry, specializing in the production of high purity, low iron content, accurate particle size sand for special glass through precision crushing, multi-stage classification, deep de-contamination and acid washing purification and other advanced processes. The products are widely used in electronic glass substrate, optical glass, photovoltaic glass and other high-end special glass manufacturing fields.


Detailed process flow of the whole line

Raw material selection and crushing system
High-quality quartz raw materials are firstly screened by multi-stage and manually selected to eliminate foreign color particles and impurity minerals; primary crushing is carried out by jaw crusher to process the raw materials to the size range of 30-50mm, and then medium and fine crushing is carried out by cone crusher to crush the materials to the ideal size of 10-15mm precisely, which is ready for the subsequent processing.

Precision Classification and Grinding System
The crushed material enters the vertical impact crusher for sand shaping, and then passes through the high-frequency vibrating screen for precise grading, separating the initial particle size that meets the requirements; the rod mill is used for wet grinding, and the particle shape and size distribution of the product are precisely controlled by adjusting the grinding media and process parameters, ensuring that the sand particles are regular in shape and have a smooth surface.

Deep iron removal and purification system
Configure multi-stage magnetic separation process, firstly, remove the strong magnetic iron minerals through the medium-strength magnetic separator, and then use the high gradient magnetic separator to remove the medium magnetic impurities in depth; the synergistic effect of the multi-stage magnetic separation process can reduce the iron content in the raw materials to a very low level, and the Fe₂O₃ content is stably controlled at less than 80ppm.

Acid washing purification and refining system
The refined sand after magnetic separation enters the closed acid washing reaction system, and under the constant temperature of 65℃, the environmentally friendly acid formula is used for deep chemical treatment; through aerodynamic tumbling technology to ensure that the material and the acid are in full contact and reaction, and effectively dissolve the iron impurities on the surface of the particles and in the fissures; equipped with automated cleaning device, the acid residue is completely removed through the multi-stage counter-current rinsing process.

Dewatering, drying and packaging system
Adopting the combination of high-efficiency dewatering screen and high-speed centrifuge to realize efficient solid-liquid separation; removing surface moisture through low-temperature air drying system and strictly controlling the drying temperature to avoid the loss of product whiteness; measuring, filling and sealing the finished products through automatic packaging system under clean environment to ensure that the product maintains its excellent quality during storage and transportation.

Through multi-stage crushing and shaping and precise grading process, the product particle size distribution is concentrated and the particle shape is regular; the deep iron removal technology combining physical magnetic separation and chemical pickling is adopted, so that the product whiteness is stable at more than 85%, and the content of Fe₂O₃ is controlled at less than 80 ppm, which fully meets the raw material standards of the special glass industry.

Professional Equipment Configuration

Crushing and Classifying System
Equipped with heavy-duty jaw crusher as primary crushing equipment, multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher for medium and fine crushing; equipped with three-layer circular vibrating screen for accurate grading to ensure uniform and reasonable particle size.

Grinding and Classifying System
The overflow rod mill is used for wet grinding, equipped with double screw classifier to form a closed loop; the grinding fineness is precisely controlled by frequency conversion adjustment to ensure that the product particle size distribution meets the process requirements.

Magnetic separation and purification system
Equipped with multi-stage magnetic separation process, the magnetic field strength from 2000 gauss to 15000 gauss covers the whole process to ensure the effective removal of all kinds of magnetic impurities.

Acid washing and dewatering system
Adopting PPH material pickling reactor, equipped with constant temperature control system and acid recovery device; selecting the combination of high-speed centrifuge and vibration dewatering screen dewatering process with high dewatering efficiency.
