Silica Sand Wet Processing Line and Processing Solution
This solution provides a set of mature, stable and customizable production line design and processing flow for the wet processing needs of silica sand (quartz sand), which is suitable for a variety of industrial uses, such as photovoltaic glass, float glass, daily-use glass, petroleum fracturing proppant and potassium-sodium feldspar sand powder.
This production line takes raw ore as raw material, and realizes efficient extraction and purification of silica sand through crushing, sand making, classification, magnetic separation, dehydration and other processes. The whole line is designed to take into account the efficiency and environmental protection, and supports the customized scale of annual output from 50,000 tons to 1 million tons to meet the diversified needs of different customers in terms of raw material grade, product standard and production capacity.
Crushing Stage
The raw ore is crushed by jaw crusher, cone crusher and other equipments to a size below 30mm.
Sand Making Stage
After crushing, the raw material enters into rod mill or other sand making equipment for fine grinding to form sand slurry.
Classification and screening
The sand slurry is separated by hydraulic classifier and hindered settler to extract qualified quartz sand in the range of 26-140 mesh.
Magnetic Separation and Iron Removal
Qualified sand enters the magnetic separator for iron removal, effectively reducing the iron content and improving the purity of the product.
Dewatering and Finished Product Processing
After magnetic separation, the finished sand is dewatered by dewatering screen and transported to the finished product warehouse for stockpiling. Tail mud and tail sand are processed separately to realize the graded utilization of resources.
Water Circulation System
The whole line adopts closed-circuit water circulation design, realizing zero discharge of production water and environmental protection without pollution.
The silica sand products output from this production line can be adjusted with process parameters according to customers' demands to meet a variety of industrial standards, including but not limited to:
Sand for glass: such as float glass, daily-use glass, glass fiber, etc., with clear requirements for SiO₂ purity and iron content.
Sand for photovoltaic glass: suitable for ultra-white calendering, ultra-white float and other high-end glass substrates, with strict control of Fe₂O₃ and other impurity content.
Oil fracturing sand: uniform particle size and high strength, suitable for oil and gas extraction proppant.
